The Story

I don’t go fishing to escape my life, I go fishing to live my life. There’s no greater joy for me than taking a client fishing and putting them on fish of a lifetime. One of my personal favorites is taking children fishing so bring them along! My skills create a lot of firsts for my clients. the smiles, laughter, and excitement of catching their first striper or filling a live well with fresh trout is my greatest reward. 

I have a saying “I’d rather fish than eat and I’m hungry all the time”.

Welcome to Rising Water Guide Service! My name is Keith Wright. I live in Mountain Home, in the Arkansas Ozarks. Thanks for visiting my website! Currently, I am guiding for Stripers on Norfork Lake and Trout in the fishing capital of the world, the White River. Let me tell you, this fishing is pure FUN! The striper and trout bite here is beyond great and I’d like to share that with you! 

My passion for the outdoors started at a very young age with fishing and hunting with my mom, dad, and grandparents in Illinois. Growing up like I did gave me a great appreciation for the outdoors. It is a very relaxing and peaceful way to spend time. I later was fortunate to fish all over the country for many species of fish and settled in Mountain Home, AR for retirement. It has always been important to me that I  share my knowledge, experiences, and appreciation of the outdoors with others. I’d like to offer the same to you!
